One of the most important factors of what makes a "Good Villain" is writing, this is what deters characterisations and representations. Whilst not an example from a video game, take the two hugely differentiating interpretations of Harvey Dent/ Two-Face from The Dark Knight and Batman Forever, whilst the first is a carefully managed, disturbingly sympathised character, weakened by his encounters and losses throughout the movie, he has become tainted and wears his scars with equal pr...
Gotham, with a non-scripted Gang-War for control over Jokers Territory, with his men associating themselves with the likes of Two-Face and Penguin following (SPOILER) Joker's demise in the concluding mission of Arkham City. One major thing that needs to be severely reviewed is the games writing style, the "Side-Missions" where insultingly poorly written, lasting brutally short times and lacking any immersion and characterisation. Bring in Brian Azzerello, his work on "Joker...

No offence, but, you don't have an Xbox 360, so how could you consider Halo Reach to be overrated?
Actually, Epic Games are the developers, People Can Fly are primarily assisting with the Campaign, Co-Op and Competitive they have little input in. This is Epic's game.
Bethesda didn't develop Brink, neither have they developed Dishonoured...
id Software have promised a trailer for QuakeCon for the past three years and each year retract that promise on the shows opening promising it for the next. Hopefully, we'll actually be getting a reveal this year...
It'll never beat Spiderman 2, I loved that game growing up (and love still think it was awesome now at the age of 18) and it has better swinging mechanics than current spiderman games. Why did Beenox leave web building attachment in favour of cloud swinging?
Neil Davidge is doing an absolutely stunning job with the composition of Halo 4's score. Whilst many, including myself, were apprehensive regarding having anyone other than Halo veteran Martin O'Donnell composing, just like 343, Neil has prove he is a worthy successor. That piece was sublime...
Perks have been in Fallout longer than they have in COD.Is Halo copying the original Fallout now?
Look at Halo 4, then look at Call of Duty. Weapon Ordinance Drops, Armor Abilities, Vehicular Combat, I don't recall seeing any of these in COD...
I'm looking forward to the DLC, but mainly for Crossbows, Vampire/Werewolf Storylines never interest me within Skyrim.
Wait, so you only played Halo 3? And you're criticising it's story? It's story of which you missed 2/3's of? Typical anti-Xbox gamer...
Genius'? How so?
Don't get me wrong, David Cage's direction is fantastic but I find the execution to be quite uninspiring, the game practically plays itself and is essentially an interactive movie. The games are enjoyable as long as the viewer is intrigued by story over gameplay, but the gameplay that is there isn't innovative in the slightest.
I look forward to seeing more but am somewhat disappointed with the titles linearity.
Halo's story becomes greater when the gamer is willing to invest time into the novels of which greatly expand the universe.
Epic are developing the game, People Can Fly are merely assisting with development of OverRun and Campaign. Also, what does Gears have to do with God of War?
We have confirmation that this isn't the full list of weapons. There's more to come!
The Last of Us was phenomenal, but I couldn't help but feel somewhat bored by the God of War presentation, the sound design was superb and technologically it was stunning, but the lack of new gameplay mechanics and the stripped back scale made the game feel like somewhat of a downgrade from God of War 3.
Overall I'd place (in regards to demonstrations of games) The Last of Us, Halo 4 and Watch_Dogs as the best three in no particular order. All three are day one purcha...
With People Can Fly's inclusion within the development of the title, they could begin development prior to Gears of War 3's release, most probably following Bulletstorms release.
Rage featured tremendous AI and fantastically intense combat, those are the only elements from Rage that will be necessarilly important to DOOM 4's development, the stunning visuals are an added bonus. I liked Rage for its combat, performance and fluidity, I am disappointed with id for their incompetence regarding DOOM 4's reveal, why they consistently open QuakeCon with an apology regarding DOOM 4's no show, only to later falsely promise a trailer for the following years show onl...
